These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sabthok website and services available at https://sabthok.com/ (the "Service"), operated by Sabthok ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What Sabthok Is

Sabthok is an online classifieds marketplace that lets users in Nepal post, browse, and respond to listings for goods and services. We provide the platform only — we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers, and we do not own, inspect, or guarantee any listed item.

Accounts

  • You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Listings and Content

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your listings — titles, descriptions, prices, images, and location.
  • Listings must be accurate, lawful, and describe an item or service you are genuinely offering.
  • Listings may be reviewed and must be approved before they appear publicly. We may reject or remove any listing at our discretion.
  • Prohibited: illegal goods or services, counterfeit items, stolen property, weapons, drugs, misleading or fraudulent listings, and content that infringes the rights of others.

Transactions Between Users

  • All sales are conducted directly between buyers and sellers. Prices, payment, delivery, and any warranties are the parties' own responsibility.
  • We recommend meeting in safe public locations and inspecting items before paying.
  • We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any item, or for the truth of any listing.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the Service to spam, harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not scrape, copy, or reuse Service content or user data without permission.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logo, and software, is owned by Sabthok. You keep ownership of the content you post, but grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute it as part of operating the Service.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sabthok is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from transactions between users.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
